Cassie Steele was born on December 2, 1989 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She’s a trained dancer, having studied at the London School of Dance. She started her acting career at an early age. She made her debut in an episode of Relic Hunter in 2001. That same year, she started playing the role of Manny Santos on Degrassi: The Next Generation. She played the said role until 2010.

Simultaneously, she worked on other projects. This includes the TV movies Full-Court Miracle and Super Sweet 16: The Movie. She had also recurring parts on the TV shows The Best Years and Instant Star. In 2010, she starred on the TV movie My Babysitter’s a Vampire. She next landed the role of Abby Vargas on the TV show The L.A. Complex. Her more recent role was as Tammy Gueterman on the show Rick and Morty.
