Biography:

Cat Deeley was born on October 23, 1976 in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, England. She was discovered at the age of 16, where she was signed with Storm modeling agency.

She left modeling in 1997 and moved on to hosting. She co-presented Hitlist UK, the MTV chart show with Edith Bowen. She also co-hosted the children’s program SMTV Live.

She became widely known when she started hosting the second season of the American reality show So You Think You Can Dance, for which she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program.
