Biography:

Cecily Strong was born on February 8, 1984 in Springfield, Illinois, US. After high school, she studied at the California Institute of the Arts. She graduated with a degree in theater. To improve her comedy improv skills, she studied at the Second City Conservatory and IO Chicago. She has since performed in various sketches and comedy shows.

In 2012, she debuted as a featured player on Saturday Night Live. She’s still part of the main cast up to present. Her next gig was as a voice actress on The Awesomes. As a movie actress, she made her debut in the 2015 film The Bronze. This was followed by the movies Slow Learners, The Meddler, and Staten Island Summer. She also recently had a role in the film Ghostbusters.
