Celia Imrie is an English actress. Her performing career spans nearly four decades. She first gained recognition during the 1980s, starring in the sketch comedy show Victoria Wood as Seen on TV. In the 1990s, she starred in the television programs Blackhearts in Battersea and Dinnerladies. The following decade, the actress played supporting roles in several films, including Bridget Jones’s Diary, Wimbledon, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Nanny McPhee, and St Trinian’s, among others.
