Biography:
Celine Dion was born on March 30, 1968 in Charlemagne, Quebec, Canada. Her career began in the early 1980s with the release of some French albums. Around this time, she was also declared the winner of the Yamaha World Popular Song Festival (1982) and the Eurovision Song Contest (1988). Her singing and recording career progressed after being signed with Epic Records in the 1990s, this time aiming to reach worldwide audiences.
Her English-language studio debut album, Unison, was released in 1990 with the third single “Where Does My Heart Beat Now” earning her further recognition among international audiences. Her 1993 album The Colour of My Love was highly successful with the hit song “The Power of Love”, while her 1996 album Falling into You generated the songs “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” and “Because You Loved Me”. Her biggest hit, “My Heart Will Go On”, was released in 2007 from the album Let’s Talk About Love and became her signature song.
