Biography:
Chadwick Boseman was born on November 29, 1977, in Anderson, South Carolina, U.S. He enrolled at the Howard University where he finished a Bachelor’s Degree in Directing. He also attended British American Drama Academy in London for a summer program. Initially, Boseman wanted to write and direct. He only studied acting as a means of connecting to them. In 2008, however, he moved to Los Angeles to become an actor.
He started his acting career even before moving to Hollywood. He debuted as Reggie Porter on the soap opera All My Children. His next notable role on TV was as Nathaniel “Nate” Ray on Lincoln Heights. He later made his big screen debut portraying Floyd Little in The Express. In 2010, he starred as Sergeant McNair on the short-lived series Persons Unknown. Afterward, he portrayed Jackie Robinson in the movie 42. His breakthrough was as T’Challa / Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War. He reprised his role in his standalone film Black Panther.
