Biography:

Charlie Cox was born on December 15, 1982 in London, UK. Being interested in acting, he trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. In the early 2000s, he began his career on British television with his debut in an episode of Judge John Deed. He made his film debut in 2003’s dot the i and appeared as Lorenzo in The Merchant of Venice in 2004. He has since appeared in the films Casanova, A for Andromeda, and Stardust.

In the 2010’s, he acted in There Be Dragons, Legacy (TV movie), and played Jonathan in the acclaimed movie The Theory of Everything. He also earned further attention among television viewers for his role as Owen Sleater in Boardwalk Empire. Further success came recently in 2015 after he began playing the titular character in Daredevil, which got rave reviews from critics.
