Hollywood star Charlotte Ross made a strong debut on television when she landed a starring role. This was as Eve Baron Donovan on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. For her work here, she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series. After her role here ended, she joined the main cast of The Heights. However, the series was cancelled. She had another regular stint on the short-lived show The 5 Mrs. Buchanans. Subsequently, she starred on the TV films A Kiss So Deadly and Fall into Darkness. Her next notable role was as Lori Volpone on Beggars and Choosers. She then gained wider recognition for starring as Det. Connie McDowell on NYPD Blue. More recently, she had remarkable roles on Glee and Hit the Floor. Her latest television work is on Arrow.
She’s turning 50 next year, but Charlotte remains slender and features a curvaceous body. This is a result of her being a fitness enthusiast. In an interview, she admitted to being a fitness fanatic. She said: “I am a fitness fanatic. I guess I kind of always have been. It has increased in the last five years because I took on a role in a Nicolas Cage film that was 3D, HD and had nudity. I wanted to challenge all of my fears and I upped my routine and literally changed my body from what I had hereditarily to a body I only dreamed about. And there was no way I was going to lose that after I finished filming!”
She added: “It’s pretty much just a way of life for me now. I have a much better body than I had in my 20s or even 30s. I am not going to lie, I work and workout hard at it. Sometimes I am filled with so much soreness and lactic acid I can barely walk without moaning in pain. But, a massage and/or hot yoga balance out my fitness training.”
