Chazz Palminteri is an American actor. He has been acting since the 1980s. He debuted in the 1984 film Home Free All. His performance as Cheech in the 1994 film Bullets over Broadway gained him recognition, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. The following year, he played David “Dave” Kujan in the film The Usual Suspects. He later had roles in the films Mulholland Falls, Analyze This, and Stuart Little. In the 2010s, he had more notable roles on television. He played Frank Rizzoli Sr. in Rizzoli & Isles and Shorty in Modern Family. He now stars as Joe Bonanno in the crime drama Godfather of Harlem.
