Hollywood actress Cheryl Hines had her career beginnings in the 1990s. During this period, she mostly guest-starred in a couple of shows. In the 2000s, she gained recognition for starring as Cheryl David in the television series Curb Your Enthusiasm. Simultaneously, she had roles in the films Herbie: Fully Loaded, Cake, Keeping Up with the Steins, and Waitress.
She later had supporting roles in the movies Labor Pains and The Ugly Truth. After her role in Curb Your Enthusiasm had ended, she joined the main cast of comedy-drama series Suburgatory as Dallas Royce. More recently, she starred in the short-lived series Son of Zorn. Also in the 2010s, she appeared in the movies Life After Beth, Think Like a Man 2, The Benefactor, Nine Lives, Wilson, and A Bad Moms Christmas.
The 52-year-old actress takes care of her body and overall health by trying to stay active at all times. In an interview, she talked about staying fit, which she does by doing yoga and Pilates. She said: “I like to take yoga and Pilates classes. If I can’t make a class, at the very minimum I’ll do a mile on the treadmill, some sit-ups and lift some 8-lb. weights for my arms. I also like stand-up paddle boarding and skiing, so I do lots of physical activity.”
She also explained that the main reason why she loves yoga is that it helps her reduce her stress levels, which is one of the keys to practicing a healthy living. She also admitted that it’s hard to control stress once you’re getting older, but that yoga really helps. She said: “I think it’s about controlling your stress levels, which is not easy, especially the older we get. That’s why I do yoga—it makes you slow down for an hour and breathe.”
