Chloe Grace Moretz was born on February 10, 1997 in Atlanta, Georgia. She started her acting career at the age of seven and her first appearances were in two episodes of The Guardian.

Her first movie role was in the 2005 film Heart of the Beholder. Her biggest role, and the role that made her famous was as Chelsea Lutz in The Amityville Horror.

In 2010, she received widespread acclaim for her role as Hit-Girl in the action film Kick-Ass. She then played Isabelle in Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, which was nominated for 11 Oscars.
