American actress Chloë Grace Moretz started early in the show business with her first acting role onscreen coming when she was seven. Around the same time, she garnered praises for her performance as the youngest Lutz child in The Amityville Horror (2005), which got her a Young Artist Award nomination. In the next few years, she continued her career as a child performer, starring in the comedy Big Momma’s House 2, as well as in the horror movies Room 6 and The Eye. Before the decade ends, she played supporting roles in Not Forgotten and (500) Days of Summer. Her real breakthrough as a teenage star came in 2010 with memorable roles in the successful films: Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Kick-Ass, and the well-received horror feature Let Me In. Her performances in the said films made her a familiar name and led her to star in more mainstream films like Hugo, Dark Shadows, Clouds of Sils Maria, If I Stay, and The Equalizer. She also portrayed Carrie White in the 2013 remake of Carrie.
