Chris Chalk is an American actor. He had his career beginnings in the mid-2000s, debuting in the 2005 film Rent. He next had small roles in the films The Architect and Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead. He later appeared in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. His first notable role was as Tom Walker in several episodes of Homeland. Chalk became known for his roles as Gary Cooper in The Newsroom and Lucius Fox in Gotham. He also had roles in the films Being Flynn, 12 Years A Slave, Burning Blue, Lila & Eve, and Come and Find Me. More recently, he played William Still in Underground and Yusuf Salaam in the miniseries When They See Us. He’ll portray Paul Drake in the upcoming miniseries Perry Mason. He also appeared in the 2019 film The Red Sea Diving Resort.
