Biography:

Chris Martin was born on March 2, 1977 in Whitestone, Devon, United Kingdom. He attended a boarding school in Dorset where he first co-founded the band called Bunga. It lasted for two years. He then continued his education at the University College London, graduating with a degree in Ancient World Studies.

It was in this university that he met his future Coldplay bandmates. After the band had been created, they released their debut album Parachutes in 2000, gaining them international prominence. They have since released the albums A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002), X&Y (2005), Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008), Mylo Xyloto (2011), and Ghost Stories (2014). The British singer was married to American actress Gwyneth Paltrow for about a decade. He’s recently dated Jennifer Lawrence.
