Biography:

Chris Wood was born on April 14, 1988 in Dublin, Ohio, United States. After high school, he attended Elon University in North Carolina. There, he studied music theater and finished his degree in 2010. In 2010, he made his screen debut in the short film The Magazine Girl. Three years later, he made his first television gig in the TV movie Browsers.

His first notable role on the small screen was as Adam Weaver in The Carrie Diaries. Afterward, he appeared in an episode of Girls. He later became known for playing Kai Parker in the series The Vampire Diaries. His first main role came when he was cast as Jake Riley in the short-lived series Containment. His greatest role thus far is as Mon-El in Supergirl, which he began playing in 2016.
