Christa Miller was born on May 28, 1964 in New York City, New York, U.S. She started her career as a model when she was little. Only at six months old, she appeared in a commercial. In 1990, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. During this period, she landed the part of Kate O’Brien in the ABC sitcom The Drew Carey Show.

She starred on the show from 1995 to 2002. She simultaneously appeared in the films Kiss & Tell and Smiling Fish and Goat on Fire.
