Biography:

Christian Slater was born on August 18, 1969 in New York City, New York, United States. He studied at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. His first notable role on television was in the soap opera Ryan’s Hope in 1985. That same year, he made his film debut with leading role in The Legend of Billie Jean. After some more roles in the late 1980s, he gained further attention for his role in Heathers (1989).

In the 1990s, he starred in Pump Up The Volume, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Mobsters, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, True Romance, Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles, and Murder in the First, among others. In the 2000s, some of his work on the big screen are Windtalkers, Churchill: The Hollywood Years, and Alone in the Dark. As of 2015, he stars as the title character in the acclaimed television series Mr. Robot.
