Christoph Waltz is a German-Austrian actor. He has also ventured into directing. He started his acting career during the 1970s in Austria. He later starred as the lead on the German show Parole Chicago. In the 2000s, he began his work in Hollywood, debuting in the film Ordinary Decent Criminal. His breakout role came in 2009 as Col. Hans Landa in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He reunited with Tarantino in 2012’s Django Unchained as Dr. King Schultz. For his performance, he won another Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He has since starred in The Zero Theorem, Horrible Bosses 2, Big Eyes, Spectre, and The Legend of Tarzan. He will star in the upcoming movie Alita: Battle Angel.
