Biography:
Christopher Abbott was born on 1 February 1986 in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA. He trained as an actor at the HB Studio in New York. Upon moving, he got into Off-Broadway. In 2009, he made his television debut with a one-time role on Nurse Jackie. He next had a one-episode role on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. In 2011, he had his first movie role, playing Max in the independent film Martha Marcy May Marlene.
Subsequently, he had performances in the films Hello I Must Be Going, Art Machine, The Sleepwalker, A Most Violent Year, James White, and Criminal Activities. At the same time, he became known for his recurring role as Charlie Dattolo on HBO’s Girls. His most recent films were in Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Katie Says Goodbye, Sweet Virginia, and It Comes at Night. He also starred as Mason Tannetti on the TV series The Sinner.
