Christopher McDonald is an American actor. He had his career beginnings in the late 1970s. Later in 1980, he made his film debut in The Hearse. He next had roles in the films Grease 2 and The Boys Next Door, among others. During the ’90s, he starred in the TV shows Empty Nest, Walter & Emily, and Good Advice. He went on to play Bryce Anderson in Veronica’s Closet. From 1999 to 2002, he starred as Rex Weller in the TV show Family Law. Later in the 2000s, the actor had recurring roles in North Shore, Cracking Up, and Stargate Universe. He went on to portray Harry M. Daugherty in Boardwalk Empire. He also starred as Thomas “Tommy” Jefferson in NBC’s Harry’s Law. More recently, he played Judge Don Schakowsky in The Good Wife and Cal Surf in The Real Bros of Simi Valley.
