Biography:

Cindy Crawford was born on February 20, 1966 in DeKalb, Illinois, USA. She attended Northwestern University where she won an academic scholarship to study chemical engineering. She dropped out a year later to pursue modeling and moved to Manhattan where she signed with Elite New York modeling agency.

She was frequently featured on the covers of various publications such as Vogue, W, People, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Cosmopolitan and Allure. She also appeared in several fashion campaigns for Gianni Versace, Escada, Revlon and Ink.

She then ventured into acting starring in such films as Fair Game, 54, and The Simian Line.
