It was in 2001 that actress Claire Coffee got her start in the entertainment industry. She made her debut in The Mind of the Married Man. She later made guest appearances in such TV shows as The Random Years, Leap of Faith, and Off Centre. Her first recurring role was as Cassie Tatum in the TV series The West Wing. She next starred in the TV film McBride: It’s Murder, Madam.
In 2004, she made her movie debut in Leave No Trace. Her success on television went further when she landed the role of Nadine Crowell in General Hospital. In the 2010s, she played Janie Ross in Franklin & Bash. She was later known for her role as Adalind Schade in the NBC series Grimm. After it ended in 2017, she guest-starred in an episode of Kevin Can Wait. Her latest movie roles are in Buddymoon and The Competition.
The actress stays in shape by working out regularly. Her regular workout routine was only halted when she became pregnant though she still found new ways to continue her exercise regimen during her pregnancy. Talking about living in Portland and being active while pregnant, she said: “I’ve been active in the city’s fitness scene since I got here four years ago, the variety and quality of which has proved invaluable with this pregnancy.”
She continued: “Nailing down a safe but effective—and not boring—fitness routine that I could carry through the trimesters was crucial to my sanity.” What exactly was her fitness routine during this period? She revealed: “I relied on classes at Revocyle and swimming at the Southwest Community Center for cardio and kept up pilates with Dan Walton at Studio Blue during my first trimester. In the second and third tris I added regular workouts at Barre3, which very safely kept my muscles stretchy and toned.”
