Biography:

Claire van der Boom was born in Broome, Australia in 1983. She studied drama in college and finished her degree in 1999. She went on to continue her training at the Sydney’s National Institute of Dramatic Art. After graduating, she made her screen debut on the Australian television show Love My Way. She then got her first notable role in the movie The Square. In 2010, she became further known for her significant role in the HBO miniseries The Pacific.

Also in 2010, she starred in the film Red Hill. The following year, she won a Logie Award for Best Actress for her role in the TV film Sisters of War. She next starred in another TV film Underbelly Files: The Man Who Got Away. She went on to appear as the ex-wife of Scott Caan’s character in Hawaii Five-0. In 2014, she acted in the drama film 5 Flights Up. Her most recent appearance was on the TV series Constantine.
