Biography:
Clive Standen was born on 22 July 1981 in Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland. He attended Melton Mowbray College where he took a course in performing arts. When he was 15, he was a part of National Youth Theatre and the National Youth Music Theatre. He then earned a spot to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. In 2004, he made his screen debut on the British series Waking the Dead.
He next appeared in 3 episodes of Doctors and starred on the TV movie Tom Brown’s Schooldays. He next starred in the movie Namastey London. In the late 2000s, he had roles on the TV shows Doctor Who and Robin Hood. His first main role on TV was on Camelot. In 2013, he started playing the role of Rollo on Vikings. This got him recognition. He went on to portray Ed Viesturs in the movie Everest. He secured the role of Bryan Mills on the new series Taken.
