Biography:

Cobie Smulders was born on April 3, 1982 in Vancouver, Canada. As a girl, she dreamed of becoming a doctor or a marine biologist. It wasn’t until high school that she started to explore acting after appearing in school productions.

She caught the eye of a modeling agency as a teenager and despite her modeling career being on the rise, she managed to finish high school with honors.

Her natural acting ability eventually impressed casting directors, landing her guest roles on television roles such as Special Unit 2 and Jeremiah. As of 2005, she plays Robin on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
