Biography:

Colbie Caillat was born on May 28, 1985 in Malibu, California. Her interest in music and performing began when she was young. One of her initial attempts in building a musical career included an audition in American Idol, though she didn’t make it. Despite this setback, she was able to begin a career in 2007 as she released her debut album.

Her album, Coco, generated the hit singles “Bubbly” and “Realize”. Her collaboration with Jason Mraz resulted in the song “Lucky”, which won at the Grammys for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. Her second album, Breakthrough, was also successful. It got even nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2010 Grammys. She has since released other albums such as All of You (2011), Christmas in the Sand (2012) and Gypsy Heart (2014).
