Biography:

Colin Egglesfield was born on February 9, 1973 in Farmington Hills, Michigan, U.S.. After high school, he attended Illinois Wesleyan University. There, he was a player for the football team. He then moved to University of Iowa where he was pre-med. To earn extra money for medical school, he started working as a model. After winning a modeling contest, he left his medical studies to work as a full-time model.

He had modeled for such prominent brands as Versace, Calvin Klein, and Armani. He had also appeared on the covers of Italian Vogue L’Uomo Vogue. In 2003, he made his film debut with S.W.A.T.. He has since had roles in the films Vampires: The Turning and Must Love Dogs, among others. His first starring role on TV was as Josh Madden on All My Children. He next starred on Melrose Place. In the 2010s, he had a recurring role on Rizzoli & Isles and starred on The Client List.
