Corey Hawkins is an American actor. He started his career in the 2010s, debuting in the TV series Royal Pains. He later made his film debut in Allegiance, followed by roles in the movies Iron Man 3 and Non-Stop. He next portrayed Tybalt in the 2014 Broadway production of Romeo and Juliet. Hawkins became further known when he starred as Andre “Dr. Dre” Young in the film Straight Outta Compton. During this period, he also became known for his role as Heath in The Walking Dead. He went on to have performances in the films Kong: Skull Island and BlacKkKlansman. This year, he starred in the movies Georgetown and 6 Underground. The actor also played lead role Eric Carter in the Fox series 24: Legacy.
