Cornelius Smith Jr. is an American actor. He had his career beginnings in the late 2000s, debuting as Frankie Hubbard in the soap opera All My Children. He played the said role from 2007 to 2011. After this, he made guest roles in Criminal Minds, Major Crimes, and Forever. In 2014, he made his first film role in Anatomy of Deception. After this, he gained wider recognition for starring as Marcus Walker in the ABC series Scandal. He also appeared in the film Whitney, as well as guest-starred in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and How to Get Away with Murder. Later in 2019, he played W. E. B. Du Bois in the Netflix show Madam C. J.
