Biography:
Costa Ronin was born on 3 February 1979 in Kaliningrad, RSFSR, USSR (now Russia). He lived in New Zealand during his teens before relocating to Australia. In his later life, he pursued acting and made his debut in the 2011 Australian film Red Dog. He then ventured into Hollywood, landing the part of Oleg Igorevich Burov in the FX series The Americans.
He starred on the show between 2014 and 2018, which garnered him mainstream prominence. On the side, he also made guest performances in several other shows. These included Extant, Agent Carter, Agent X, Gotham, and Shooter. From 2018 to 2020, Ronin then played the role of Yevgeny Gromov in Showtime’s Homeland. In 2019, the actor portrayed Wojciech Frykowski in the film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
