D. W. Moffett is an American actor. His career started in the 1980s, debuting in the TV film An Early Frost. His first notable on the small screen was as Det. Tony Jonas in The Oldest Rookie. Later in 1987, he appeared in the film Black Widow, marking his big screen debut. He next had roles in the movies The Misfit Brigade and Lisa. During the ’90s, he had performances in the films Pacific Heights, Miss Beatty’s Children, Stealing Beauty, and Molly. He also starred in the television shows Chicago Sons and For Your Love. The following decade, Moffett starred in the films Traffic, Kill Me Later, Thirteen, Twisted, Visioneers, and The Smell of Success. At the same time, he continued his TV career. He played Bob Hardy in Hidden Palms, Danny Clark in Life Is Wild, and Joe McCoy in Friday Night Lights. In the 2010s, he was best known for his role as John Kennish in Switched at Birth.
