Biography:
Daniel Craig was born on March 2, 1968 in Chester, United Kingdom. Initially training at the National Youth Theatre, he eventually finished his degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and began performing in stage productions. In 1992, he made his film debut in The Power of One.
His performances in 1999’s The Trench and 2000’s Some Voices earned him British Independent Film Award nominations for Best Actor. This then led him to appear in well-known Hollywood movies such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Road to Perdition. In 2006, he achieved worldwide recognition for playing James Bond in Casino Royale. He has since starred in the James Bond movies Quantum of Solace and Skyfall.
