Daniela Ruah is an American actress who has Portuguese and Jewish heritage. Her acting career started at a young age by appearing on Portuguese soap operas. Her first stint on US television was on the soap opera Guiding Light in 2009. Around the same time, she began playing the role of Kensi Blye on NCIS: Los Angeles, a role she has since become known as she presently still portrays the character up to now. Additionally, she made her film debut in the 2012 movie Red Tails, followed by a starring role in the Portuguese version of the animated film Brave.
