Danielle Harris was born on June 1, 1977 in Plainview, New York, USA. Her career began working as a model and appearing in commercials.

In 1985, she was cast as Samantha Garretson in the soap opera One Life to Live. After her work in One Life to Live, she auditioned and got the part of Jamie Lloyd in the fourth edition of the Halloween franchise.

She reprised her role in the film’s sequel, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, the following year. She has since appeared in such movies as Marked for Death, Free Willy, Daylight, and Urban Legend, among others.
