Danny DeVito is an American actor. He has since ventured into directing, screenwriting, and producing. He first came to prominence as Louie De Palma in the television series Taxi, which aired from 1978 to 1983. His performance here won him an Emmy and a Golden Globe. During the ’70s and ’80s, he gained recognition for starring in the films One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Terms of Endearment, Throw Momma from the Train, Twins, and The War of the Roses. In the 1990s, DeVito starred in the films Batman Returns, Get Shorty, Matilda, Mars Attacks!, L.A. Confidential, and Man on the Moon. Currently, he’s widely known for starring as Frank Reynolds in the sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. His latest films include Dumbo and Jumanji: The Next Level.
