Dave Grohl

Dave Grohl is an American musician and singer-songwriter. He first came to prominence as the drummer for Nirvana in the early 1990s. After it disbanded in 1994, he founded the rock band Foo Fighters, for which he served as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter. Later in 2009, Grohl also created the supergroup Them Crooked Vultures. In 2014, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He’s also appeared as himself in several documentaries, such as 1991: The Year Punk Broke, Classic Albums: Nirvana – Nevermind, Sound City, and Salad Days. On TV, he’s guest hosted in Jimmy Kimmel Live! and performed in Sesame Street.
