David Cross is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He debuted in the early 1990s, appearing in 2 episodes of The Ben Stiller Show. He later starred in the sketch comedy series Mr. Show with Bob and David, which he also co-created. Later in 1995, he made his cinematic debut in Destiny Turns on the Radio. He later had roles in the films Men in Black, Small Soldiers, and The Thin Pink Line. In the 2000s, he became known for playing Dr. Tobias Fünke in Arrested Development. He later played the lead in The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret. More recently, he played Pete “The Broker” Oakland in the Amazon series Goliath. He’s also had roles in the films Obvious Child and Folk Hero & Funny Guy. He portrayed Howard Simons in Steven Spielberg’s The Post.
