Biography:

David Duchovny was born on August 7, 1960 in New York City, New York, U.S. He attended Princeton University where he graduated with a degree in English Literature in 1982. He earned his Master of Arts in English Literature from Yale University.

His first film appearance was in the 1988 feature Working Girl. He has since starred in other movies including The Rapture, Chaplin, Kalifornia, Playing God, Zoolander and Trust the Man, among others.

On television, he became known for his recurring role in David Lynch’s series Twin Peaks. In 1993, he gained his breakthrough as FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder in the hit series The X-Files.
