David James Elliott is a Canadian actor. He’s been acting since the 1980s. His first starring role on television was as Nick Del Gado in Street Legal. In the 1990s, he had recurring roles in Knots Landing and Melrose Place. He later gained recognition for starring as Harmon ‘Harm’ Rabb Jr. in the legal drama JAG, which he played from 1995 to 2005. While on the show, he had performances in the films Clockwatchers and The Shrink Is In. After JAG, he starred as Chief Deputy Prosecutor James Conlon in the CBS series Close to Home. In the 2010s, he had main roles in short-lived shows, including Scoundrels and GCB. He recently starred James Davis in the new Netflix series Spinning Out. Additionally, he starred in the 2019 film The Obituary of Tunde Johnson.
