Biography:

Dean Geyer was born on 20 March 1986 in Johannesburg, South Africa. His passion for music began during his childhood. He spent his teens in Australia and later joined the reality show Australian Idol’s Season 4. He finished in the 3rd place. Afterwards, he ventured into acting, joining the main cast of the Australian soap opera Neighbours as Ty Harper.

In 2011, he made his film debut in the American direct-to-video feature Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown. He also appeared in an episode of the US show Single Ladies. He became further known after playing Mark Reynolds on the television series Terra Nova. From 2012 to 2013, he played Brody Weston on Glee. Since 2015, he plays the recurring part of Nick Davis on Shades of Blue.
