Biography:
Deborah Kara Unger was born on 12 May 1966 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She attended the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Australia, prompting her to start her acting career there. She debuted on the 1989 miniseries Bangkok Hilton. She later had her first film credit in 1990’s Blood Oath. She later made her Hollywood debut in the 1992 feature Whispers in the Dark.
She later became known for her performances in the films Crash, The Game, The Hurricane, and Payback. During the 2000s, she had roles in the movies Between Strangers, Fear X, Hollywood North, A Love Song for Bobby Long, Silent Hill, and 88 Minutes, among others. In the movie Silent Hill, she played the role of Dahlia Gillespie, which she reprised in the sequel Silent Hill: Revelation. She also starred in the short-lived Canadian series Combat Hospital.
