Considered as one of the highest-paid and most attractive actresses in India, Deepika Padukone first starred in the Kannada film Aishwarya. This was in the mid 2000s. The following year, she made her Bollywood debut in Om Shanti Om. The movie’s success led her to become recognized. This was followed by her praised performances in the movies Love Aaj Kal and Lafangey Parindey. It was however her role in Cocktail that cemented her prominence as a high-caliber actress. Soon after, she starred in the hugely successful movies Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Chennai Express. She recently won a Best Actress award for her role in Piku. In addition, Deepika has also ventured to Hollywood. She recently played the female lead in XXX: Return of Xander Cage.

She does this through eating well and exercising regularly. She knows how important it is to always look and feel her best. Being a prolific actress also means that she needs to have increased energy levels in order to perform her characters efficiently. In her recent Hollywood movie XXX: Return of Xander Cage, she plays a strong character and thanks to her toned body, she effectively looks like the part. The actress explained that as work becomes busier, she realized she needed to focus on her body and health. So, she starting working with her trainer Yasmin Karachiwala. When asked about her workout, she said: ““I was always slim but I knew my body had the potential to really look defined. I wasn’t fat or out of shape, but I wanted to look a lot better. This is when I started training with Yasmin and she introduced me to Pilates and strength training. It did wonders for my tone and definition. I may have lost maybe a kilo or two at the most in all this time, but have lost inches all around and it shows.”
