It all started in 1990 for actress Denise Richards. This was when she debuted in an episode of the TV show Life Goes On. From there, she pretty much moved ahead, first landing guest appearances on some TV programs. Shortly, she ventured onto the big screen, first appearing in the 1993 film Loaded Weapon 1. She had roles in the films Lookin’ Italian, Tammy and the T-Rex, and Nowhere before becoming known for her part as Carmen Ibanez in 1998’s Starship Troopers. She got more fame for starring as Kelly Lanier Van Ryan in Wild Things. To add, she also starred as Becky in the film Drop Dead Gorgeous, as well as played Bond Girl Christmas Jones in The World Is Not Enough.
Her acting in the film was not well-received but she gained prominence nonetheless. In the 2000s, she had a notable performance in the British romance film Love Actually. Other movies include Elvis Has Left the Building, Valentine, and The Third Wheel, to name a few. On television, she starred as Jolene Butler on the short-lived series Sex, Love & Secrets. She later starred in her own reality series Denise Richards: It’s Complicated. In the 2010s, she played Debra Simon on the TV series Blue Mountain State. She also joined the main cast of Twisted as Karen Desai, though the show didn’t last long. She currently appears on the reality show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Getting fit isn’t an issue for Denise Richards. And it has something to do with her active lifestyle. She’s not one to sit around and do nothing. She loves exercising and just being mobile overall. “I am very active. I found what works for my body — everyone’s body is different and I think it’s best to find what works for you. For me it’s Pilates and dance,” said the actress. “My abs get the best workout with my Pilates reformer — I had two C-sections and it was the only thing I found that got my tummy flat.”
