Biography:

Denyce Lawton was born on May 2, 1978 in Seoul, South Korea. She lived in several countries as a child. In 2002, she made her acting debut when she appeared in the film Go for Broke. That same year, she also guest starred on the TV shows Scratch & Burn, The Parkers, and Half & Half.

She then became known for her recurring role as Dana Carter on the TV show Tyler Perry’s House of Payne. Also in the 2000s, she had roles in the films Dead Tone and Redline. In the 2010s, she mostly appeared in independent films, as well as some B-movies. Her most recent work as in an episode of Castle in 2014.
