DeRay Davis is an American actor and comedian. He first appeared in the 2002 film Play’d: A Hip Hop Story. During this period, he also starred in the sitcom My Wife and Kids. He also appeared as Ray in the comedy film Barbershop. He reprised his role in the sequel Barbershop 2: Back in Business. The rest of the 2000s saw him perform in such movies as The Seat Filler, Who Made the Potato Salad?, School for Scoundrels, Scary Movie 4, and License to Wed. In the 2010s, he had supporting roles in the films Life as We Know It, 21 Jump Street, and G.I. Joe: Retaliation. To add, he’s currently the host of the show Hip Hop Squares.
