American actress Diane Farr had her career beginnings in the early 1990s, debuting in an episode of Silk Stalkings. She later had guest roles in Unhappily Ever After, In the House, Arliss, and The Drew Carey Show. In 1998, she had her first movie role in Divorced White Male. Her next role was in the independent film Little Indiscretions. On television, her first notable role was as Amy DeLuca in Amy DeLuca.
In the 2000s, she first acted in the TV movie Sacrifice. She then joined the main cast of the TV show The Job as Jan Fendrich. Farr next starred as Maddie Hudson in the short-lived sitcom Like Family. She then became known for playing Laura Miles in the FX series Rescue Me. It was, however, her role as Megan Reeves in the CBS series Numb3rs that brought her mainstream fame. She simultaneously appeared in the feature film The Third Nail.
After the show ended in 2008, she played the recurring role of Jill Robinson in the comedy-drama Californication. In the 2010s, she mostly had one-time roles in Desperate Housewives, White Collar, Grey’s Anatomy, CSI: Miami, and The Mentalist. She then appeared in 5 episodes of The Secret Life of the American Teenager. More recently, she starred as Christina Chance in the Hulu series Chance. As of 2017, she plays Maya in the ABC comedy series Splitting Up Together.
Ever since becoming a mom, the television actress started eating more healthily. Apart from working out, she also eats well.
