Biography:

Dichen Lachman was born on 22 February 1982 in Kathmandu, Nepal. She lived in Kathmandu until she was eight, after which she relocated to Australia with her family. Years later, she attended University of Adelaide. In 2005, she made her acting debut in Australia, playing the role of Katya Kinski on the soap opera Neighbours. Around the same time she appeared in the film Aquamarine.

She next appeared on the TV movie Aztec Rex. She eventually moved to Los Angeles to pursue a Hollywood career. She did when she landed the role of Sierra / Priya Tsetsang on the short-lived series Dollhouse. In the 2010s, she mostly appeared on several US shows as a guest star. She then starred as Suren on Being Human’s Season 2, and then joined the main cast of Last Resort. She has since become known for her recurring characters on several shows, such as The 100, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Shameless.
