Biography:

Dominique McElligott was born on March 5, 1986 in Dublin, Ireland. She began her career on television in the early 2000s with On Home Ground. Her next acting job came some years later in 2005 with the TV movie Whiskey Echo. Then in 2008, she made her movie debut in Dark Floors, a Finnish horror film.

Around the same time, she began landing notable roles on the small screen, first on the Irish series Raw and The Philanthropist, the latter of which was her American debut on TV, though prior to that, she had appeared in the Hollywood romantic comedy Leap Year. Her break began to take off during this time that she was cast for a main character in Hell on Wheels, but she only stayed for two seasons. She recently starred in the short-lived series The Astronaut Wives Club.
