Biography:
Douglas Booth was born on July 9, 1992 in London, England. He first rose to fame for his portrayal of Boy George in the BBC Two television program Worried About the Boy in 2010.
He followed this with another performance in the BBC 2011 television film Christopher and His Kind. He also played the role of Pip in the BBC One adaptation of Great Expectations.
In 2012, he landed the role of Shem in Darren Aronofsky’s film Noah, and played Romeo in Carlo Carlei’s film adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet the following year.
