Drew Roy was born on May 16, 1986 in Clanton, Alabama, USA. In 2006, he started his acting work, appearing in the low-budget film Curse of Pirate Death. He next appeared in the thriller film Blink. Later in 2009, he made his first television role as Travis Benjamin in 3 episodes of Lincoln Heights. Afterward, he played Griffin in 2 episodes of iCarly.

He next had roles in the films Costa Rican Summer and Secretariat. He then became known for playing recurring character Jesse in 5 episodes of Hannah Montana. His breakthrough on television came after getting the role of Hal Mason on the show Falling Skies. He played the said role from 2011 to 2015, earning him mainstream recognition. Following this, he guest-starred on Timeless and The Last Ship. His latest film role was in 2016’s Sugar Mountain.
